Eric Sanchez discovered Puerto Morelos 2 years ago after 10 years of vacationing in Playa del Carmen and Tulum. Spending New Year's on the beach was enough to convince him he needed to be here full time and not just on his Summer break from the Austin Texas School District where he had been working as an Intervention Specialist and coach for adult and youth rugby

Eric is a single father of 2 adult children; his son is currently serving in Iraq. Eric is bi-lingual, and teaches free English classes at the Puerto Morelos library. He brings a love of the region, a knowledge of the culture, and a willingness to find exactly what the customer is looking for. His mediation skills and previous medicl sales experience all translate quite well to his new home at Travel Treasures.
